    Holiday Ham is one of the favorate items cooked during the holidays on the islands of Curacao, Aruba, and Bonaire. It is serve as side disk,main dish, or just to snack.


    • 1 medium ham
    • 1/2 cup of honey
    • 2 teaspoon of powdered mustard
    • Few Cloves
    • 1 cup of butter
    • 1 big can of sliced pineapple about 10oz
    • 1 bottle of cherries


    1. Turn on the oven to 350°F
    2. Mix the honey, mustard and the butter in a pot and put it on medium heat until the butter melts. Stir the content while the pot is on the heat.
    3. Let it content cool down a little and rub the mixture/content of pot on to the ham. If not enough, you can make more.
    4. Butter a baking pan completely inside and put the ham inside.
    5. Put the baking pan with the ham into the over for about 1.5 hours. Remember to flip the ham every 30 minutes
    6. When ham is done cooking, decorate the ham with the pineable and the cherries, by putting the sliced pinnables on top of the ham with the cherries inside of the rings
