    Information

    Chicken Salad recipes as it is made on the islands of Curacao, Aruba, and Bonaire.


    Ingredients

    • 1 whole chicked
    • 1 medium onion
    • 1 medium tomatoe
    • 1 clove of garlic
    • Salt and Pepper to taste
    • 1 can of peas
    • 1 can of diced carrots
    • 1 can of corn (cream)
    • 1 can of asparagus
    • 3 green olives
    • 1/2 pickle
    • Lime huice to taste
    • 1 bottle of mayonaise
    • Salt, pepper, and sugar to taste.


    Preparation

    1. Put the chicked to boil with the chopped onion,tomatoe, and the garlic.
    2. When the chicked seems cooked, take it of the heat and put it in a glass bowl and let it cool down.
    3. Dice the pickle and the green olive and mix all the ingredients together, but leave the mayonaise for last. Mix sure all the salad is covered with mayonaise.
    4. Cover and refridgerate the salad bowl.
    5. Can serve the salad in sandwiches or as a side dish.
